Most of us are springing up in our careers. Even those who went into professions like law and accountancy speak of taking up training like nothing else had happened to them.
Why is it that most of us have not experienced career advice? In schools it is common to the careers teacher for the job as part of a broader portfolio. And it is often an administrative role as the expectation is that there is a library of information that students can access. The universities are not much better. One of the best British universities require students to pre-book a session where the student then has 15 minutes to help with your CV. It is probably useful advice. How useful is it in the context of career counseling and we might want?

......The main issue seems to be, as a society, we do not know the value of a career as an important subject. Whether it is in schools or with people who are in work careering (instead of control) in their careers, the lack of value relations. Some people do not take proactive measures and fall broadly into two camps - those are the pain and suffering because they lost their job or are bored and frustrated and I know that they must move out of what they are doing
